Tersus offers additive injection and groundwater recirculation systems for pilot, short or long-term projects. Customized leases and terms allow you to meet project budgets.
Groundwater Recirculation Systems
A primary limitation of in situ remediation processes is the lack of contact between delivered amendments and the contaminants. Many in situ remediation projects are implemented using slug injections that have a minimal radius of influence. The solution to maintaining appropriate subsurface conditions and proper delivery of amendments is groundwater recirculation.
Deploying a groundwater recirculation system at your site will increase contact between delivered amendments and the contaminants. The automated recirculation systems can deliver gas, liquid, and slurry phase substrates, nutrients and surfactants to the subsurface on a scheduled, consistent basis. Ourequipment platforms are fully automated and programmable, allowing for optimized delivery of remediation products based on site-specific remediation needs.
Deploying a groundwater recirculation system for delivery of surfactants can increase the amount of non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPLs) captured by existing extraction systems. Tersus' equipment can move surfactant-amended groundwater through the site to help encourage NAPL and residual contaminant recovery.
